Let’s create magic for the garden! I did a funny thing during the Pandemic. I saved all my toilet and paper towel rolls. Sometimes, inspiration is a funny thing. It turns out, they were for making garden totems. Who would have imagined?
I designed this workshop to be fun and playful. We will learn how to make stackable elements for sculptures using a concrete clay.
Elements of this workshop include:
Design and inspiration
Faux bois effects
Coloring the concrete
Dangles and Beads (useful for attracting faeries)
Mosaic
Planters
Feeders
Creatures & more
All materials are included in this boutique style workshop. You need only show up and bring a good dust mask, an apron, and your own lunch.
This 3-day workshop takes place at The Creative Arts Center of Dallas. Times: 10 am - 4 pm daily
I offer two workshops as space is limited to 6 people/workshop. I want you to have more than enough space to create.
Important* : While working indoors you must wear your dust mask. This is to protect your lungs from the concrete clay dust and the dust from the colorants.
